New Delhi: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has added 176 seats and removed seats from the NEET PG 2022 round 2 seat matrix through the online mode. 

MCC Adds 176 More Seats & Withdraws Seats from NEET PG 2022 Round 2 Seat Allotment

According to a statement from MCC, the new seats that could not be contributed by institutions prior to the beginning of NEET PG 2022 Round 1 due to LoPs from NMC being received after the commencement of Round 1 NEET counselling have been added to the MCC NEET PG 2022 seats.

Consequently, as many as 176 MD, MS and PG DNB seats are being added to the NEET PG 2022 round 2 seat matrix for the larger interest of candidates, the MCC statement revealed.

The Prince Aly Khan Hospital, South Western Central Hospital, MKCG Medical College Hospital (MKCG), Berhampur MKCG Medical College, Poona Hospital and Research Centre, and Government Vellore Medical College have provided information to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) requesting the removal of seats from the NEET PG round 2 seat matrix.

According to the MCC's notification, the Medical Counselling Committee has received information from the following Institutes (List enclosed) about new seats that could not have been contributed by the colleges before the start of Round-1 of PG Counselling 2022 as LoPs from NMC were received after the start of counselling. 

However, for the greater good of candidates, the following MD/ MS/ PG DNB seats are being added to the seat matrix of Round 2 of PG Counseling 2022.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the processing of seat allotment for NEET PG 2022 round 2 counselling between October 17th and October 18th, 2022 through online mode on the official website.

The NEET PG 2022 round 2 seat allotment results will be released by MCC on October 19th, 2022, on the official website, in accordance with the NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule. Candidates will have to have to report to the NEET PG 2022 assigned Institute between October 20 and October 26, 2022.
