New Delhi: All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to conduct the MAT 2022 exam for March Phase today, on March 6, 2022. The exam will be held in Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode at several test centres in over 35 cities. Candidates who are going to appear in the exam must check the necessary Exam day guidelines.
This is going to be the first MAT PBT exam of the year 2022 and will also be the first attempt for most of the candidates. The 2022 PBT exam admit card has also been published on the official portal by AIMA.
Aspirants appearing for the PBT exam can check some MAT PBT exam-related guidelines that candidates must be aware of and also follow during the examination.
MAT 2022 PBT Exam: Instructions to fill the OMR sheet
Candidates appearing for the MAT PBT exam will have to mark their options in the OMR answer sheet. The scores will be computed by machines after scanning the sheets. Thus, it becomes very important for candidates to mark their answers properly on the sheet. Here are some key instructions to follow while filling out the OMR sheet :
- Every question will have four answer options & Candidates must mark their answer by darkening the corresponding option number oval on the sheet using a ballpoint (Blue/Black) pen only.
- Improper darkening will be treated as the wrong answer so candidates must remember that MAT PBT has negative marking for wrong answers.
- After the test, the question booklet and OMR answer sheet must be handed to the invigilator. Candidates will not be allowed to carry the question booklet outside the test room under any circumstances.
- Candidates will be allowed to leave the test room only after the end of the test, till the counting & tallying of question booklets and OMR sheets by the Invigilator.
MAT 2022 PBT Exam: Items Allowed to Carry
Candidates are permitted to carry only the below-mentioned items into the MAT PBT test centres:
- Admit Card, Photo Id card (Original), COVID-19 Self-Declaration
- Personal hand sanitiser bottle (transparent)
- Personal water bottle (transparent)
- Blue/Black ballpoint pen for marking of the OMR answer sheet
MAT 2022 PBT Exam: Items Prohibited
Candidates carrying any of the below-mentioned items will be barred from entering the MAT PBT test centre:
- Mobile Phone, Digital/smartwatch
- Correction marker/white fluid
- Bag or handbag
- Papers, Books/notes
- Calculator
- Any other suspicious item/material

MAT 2022 PBT Exam: Precautions Regarding COVID-19
- Candidates who have tested Covid-19 positive recently and are in quarantine as per the Government’s instructions, will not be allowed to enter the MAT 2022 test centre.
- Thermal screening of each of the candidates will be done at the entry point of the Centre for fever & Only those with normal body temperature shall be allowed to take the exam.
- Candidates must follow all the physical distancing and other guidelines issued by the Government at the exam centre.
- Candidates must wear a mask before entering the test centre and throughout the test duration.
- At the time of entry, the “COVID-19 Self-Declaration” along with the MAT 2022 admit card will be checked by the test centre staff.
- Candidates must reach their MAT 2022 test centre as per the reporting time given in the admit card to avoid crowding & any other inconvenience.
