MANIT offers a full-time Ph.D. program under 15 departments to the full-time/ part-time/ sponsored candidates. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till December 11, 2022.

MANIT PhD Admission 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.
- Candidates shall possess a master’s degree in the relevant area of Research with 55% marks (CGPA 5.5) or equivalent.
- Candidates with B.E. /B.Tech./B.Arch/B.Plan degree may be admitted directly to Ph.D. if CGPA is more than 8.5 or 85% in undergraduate.
- A relaxation of 5% (0.5 in CGPA) for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
MANIT PhD Admission 2022-23: Selection Process
- Candidate's selection to the PhD programme will done on the basis of scores in UGC-NET/JRF/SET/GATE and academic performance. Shortlisted candidates will then be required to appear for a written test conducted by the institute.
- Candidates who qualify the same will be called for an interview.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination and performance in the written test and interview conducted by the institute.
