Recently, the UGC Chairman, M Jagdeesh Kumar announced the introduction of CUET PG 2022 for admissions to the PG courses, for which the deadline is till June 18, 2022. As a result, several universities including Manipur University (MU) have adopted the CUET PG 2022.

Interested candidates can submit the online CUET-PG application form through the official portal @cuet.samarth.ac.in, till 11:50 pm on June 18, 2022.

While several central universities across the country decided to implement CUET PG 2022, most of them choose to go with their own admission methods.

However, institutes like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Pondicherry University (PU) had announced their plans to adopt the exam quite early, others have taken their time to decide.

Besides the institute, central universities of Andhra Pradesh, South Bihar, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu have also joined the list of adopting the CUCET PG exam this year.

However, there are quite a few institutes that have withdrawn from CUET-PG this time. Prestigious institutes like Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI), Delhi University (DU) and University of Allahabad (AU) are among the ones who will conduct admissions on their own.

The CUET-PG 2022 is likely to be conducted in the final week of July 2022 as a computer-based test (CBT). According to the CUET-PG exam pattern, the exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions for each paper with four marks awarded for every correct answer and one mark reduced for every incorrect attempt.
