New Delhi: Manipur University has released an official notification stating that the Qualifying Entrance Test (QET) for admission to the Pre-PhD Programme in Anthropology will be held on June 7, 2022. 


The notification shared by Manipur University also features the names of the eligible candidates who can download the QET Admit Card 2022 from the official website @manipuruniv.ac.in, from June 2, 2022.

The department of Anthropology, Manipur University, is conducting the QET 2022 entrance exam on June 7, for candidate's seeking admissions into the Pre-PhD Programme in Anthropology. 

The university offers doctoral degrees in almost 23 specializations and various disciplines like Engineering sciences, Core sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Languages. 

Admission to Manipur University is based on the score obtained in Qualifying Entrance Test (QET), however, candidates who have qualified UGC NET/ UGC CSIR NET/ DBT BET/ GATE/ SET/ SLET or have passed an M.Phil program are not need to sit for the entrance exam. 

Manipur University QET 2022: Exam Details 

The QET 2022 is a 100 mark internal examination conducted for a time duration of 2 hours. It will consist of a total of 100 mark MCQ questions with a qualifying score of 50. Candidates qualifying the QET 2022 will have to attend a personal interview conducted by the varsity. 

The interview will be of 50 marks and will have 2 components. The first part of the interview is about the research proposal and the other is a personal interview. Extra marks will be given based on the percentage secured in the PG exam which is called the academic index. 

The university will prepare the final list based on total marks in the interview and academic index. Thereafter, the selected candidates will have to pay the required fees when an admission slip is granted to them by the HoD. 

UGC CSIR JRF/ICMR JRF and foreign nationals can take admission provisionally throughout the whole year.
