Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will officially release the second selection list for Maharashtra NEET UG 2020 counselling process today, i.e on December 13, 2020, at 8 PM on its official Maharashtra CET website.

Candidates who have earlier registered for the Maharashtra NEET UG 2020 Counselling process can visit the official State CET website: mahacet.org, around 8 PM today and check their results online. 

As per the schedule, candidates are required to fill the Status Retention Form for allotted colleges during the second round within December 18, 2020. After including the 260 seats surrendered from AIQ, the State CET Cell will release a new seat matrix at noon on December 13, 2020.

Candidates who have registered for the Maharashtra NEET UG 2020 counselling process can follow the step-by-step process provided below to check the second selection list of the same. 

  • Visit official website of Maharashtra CET: mahacet.org
  • Navigate to the latest updates tab and click on the download link of NEET-UG 2020 available on the homepage 
  • Click on the link for "Maharashtra NEET Second Selection list 2020"
  • Maharashtra NEET 2020 Second Selection List will appear on the screen in PDF format 
  • Check the list and download it and take a print out of the same for further reference

The second round of seat allotment of AIQ in UG medical/dental admissions concluded on December 8, following which the Directorate General Of Health Sciences (DGHS) returned all the vacant seats from AIQ quota to the state governments, so that those vacant seats can be included in General CAP rounds. 

Maharashtra Government received a total of 222 vacant seats for MBBS and 40 for BDS seats from the AIQ quota for the Maharashtra NEET UG 2020, which will now be included for all the reserved and the open category and it will be allotted in the second and consecutive seat allotment lists.
