Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Maharashtra has released the Maharashtra NEET 2020 application form for choice filling and provisional seat matrix.

Candidates who wish to apply for MBBS in any Government / Corporation / Government Aided / Government Unaided / Minority Institutions in the state of Maharashtra should apply online on the official website - @mahacet.org

The admission committee releases the merit list based on the marks secured by candidates in NEET 2020.

The application form for Maharashtra MBBS Admission through NEET 2020 is open and candidates could fill the application form till November 12, 2020.

Maharashtra NEET 2020: Registration Process

Candidates could check below for the application process for admission for the Maharashtra MBBS course.

Step 1: Visit the official website - @mahacet.org

Step 2: Click on the 'NEET UG 2020' tab on the homepage

Step 3: Fill the application form and attach the required documents

Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit the application form

Step 5: Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.

The application fee for admission to the Maharashtra MBBS course is INR 1,000 which is non-refundable.

Maharashtra NEET 2020: Counselling

The merit list will be released and the candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible for the counselling process.

Depending upon the availability of seats, several rounds of counselling will be conducted by DMER.

  • Candidates should appear for the document verification and get their documents approved
  • Those candidates should fill the choice filling form from mahacet.org based on which the seats will be allotted to them.
  • Candidates should fill a minimum of one choice and a maximum of 300 choices
  • Candidates who were allotted seats should report to the respective institute to confirm their seats.

Maharashtra NEET 2020: Document Verification

Candidates should carry the below-mentioned documents for the document verification process.

  • Admit Card and Marksheet of Maharashtra NEET 2020
  • Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate/Addl. indicating the nationality of the candidate as ‘Indian.'
  • H.S.C. (or equivalent) examination mark sheet
  • SSC (or equivalent) passing certificate (for Date of Birth)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Copy of Online filled Application Form

If applicable:

  • Caste Certificate / Caste Validity Certificate (CVC) / Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for VJ, NT1, NT-2, NT-3, SEBC & OBC including SBC) in proof for Constitutional reservation claim
  • D1/D2/D3: Ex-servicemen Certificate /actual service certificate
  • D1/D2: Domicile of Maharashtra Certificate of Defence person
  • D3: Transfer certificate
  • Eligibility Certificate for EWS category issued by the Competent Authority
  • MKB: Disputed area certificate, Mother tongue certificate, SSC/HSC from MKB area.
  • HA: Parent Domicile certificate, SSC/HSC of the candidate from the hilly area
  • For Person with disability (PWD) Candidates – Medical Fitness Certificate of Authorized Medical Board.
  • For Minority Candidates
  • For Orphan – respective certificate from the appropriate authority
