NEET PG 2023

New Delhi: The MAHA CET Cell has notified that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal will release the candidate-specific refund information for NEET PG and NEET MDS on or before February 28, 2023. The State CET Cell website will make the appropriate refund announcements.

According to the announcement, the State CET cell has started returning security deposits to qualified PG /MDS 22 candidates, once the counselling is over. the same account or credit card that the candidate used to deposit the security payment will get a return of that amount. In order to complete the reimbursement process, the candidates must have an active account.

Further, the candidates must keep a track of the official MCC website for further updates on the refund process on NEET PG and NEET MDS. According to Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, read with 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, the NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking exam that is mandated as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Programmes.

No other entrance exam, either at the institutional or state level, is acceptable for enrollment in MD, MS, or PG Diploma programmes. The NEET PG exams in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) are administered by the National Board of Examinations, which was founded in 1975 with the goal of enhancing the quality of medical education through the establishment of rigorous standards for postgraduate exams in contemporary medicine across India and the development of capacity.

According to Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act of 2015, the state of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under the Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA).

The latest reports reveal that Maha CET Cell has announced that registration for overseas applicants seeking to have foreign degrees and certifications recognised as equivalents for the academic year 2023–2024 has commenced. The Association of Indian Universities must verify any candidates' diplomas or degrees that they have earned from foreign universities (AIU).

The Foreign Board will submit their applications in the appropriate format on the AIU website if they want AIU to recognise their credentials, exams, certificates, or courses as equivalent.
