The duration of the M.Phil course in KGMU is 2 years. Shortlisted candidates have to answer 100 MCQs in 1 and a half hours. The selection is done based on the merit list secured in the entrance exam.

KGMU Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- Aspiring candidates must have a Master’s degree in Psychology/ Clinical Psychology or equivalent from any UGC recognized university.
- Candidates pursuing their final year exams / waiting for their results are also eligible to apply. However, they must have maintained 55% aggregate marks.
- Candidates must hold a valid score in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
KGMU Admission 2022: Selection Process
- Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam with the qualifying marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview category-wise.
- Final selection is done on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.

Step 1- Visit the official application portal of KGMU, at kgmu.org.
Step 2- Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id, etc.
Step 3- Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
Step 4- Pay the application fee of 4000 INR and submit the Application form.
Step 5- Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
