New Delhi: KEAM 2022 entrance examination for engineering and pharmacy programmes will be held online, as the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is planning to do so.
CEE has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) through a notice dated March 26, 2022. Bids can be filed by agencies with registered offices or branches in Kerala. Such organisations should be capable of professionally administering the KEAM test in CBT mode on a big scale.
Due to a rise in the number of candidates for engineering entrance tests, CEE wishes to assign exam supervision to the relevant body. Furthermore, CEE will personally monitor the online test procedure.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) shall be sent in person or through registered mail to the CEE. The EOI must be filed on or before April 13, 2022.
Due to the present exam mode, students are not permitted to make any modifications to the previously marked MCQs on the OMR sheet. When the test format changes to online mode, applicants will benefit since they will be able to alter their answers if necessary.
For administrators, the time-consuming job of printing papers, preparing OMR sheets, and scanning answer booklets would be decreased.
While the CEE has held online entrance tests for a variety of degrees, including three-year and five-year LLB, LLM, MSc Nursing, and KMAT, the KEAM would need extensive preparation due to a large number of candidates. The viability of the move will be determined by the availability of internet connections across all test centres.
KEAM is a state-level examination administered by the Commission of Entrance Examinations (CEE). Interested applicants will be eligible to gain admission in BTech programmes at many government and private colleges in Kerala through the entrance exam.
