Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala has released KEAM 2021 Phase 1 Counselling schedule on the official website. KEAM 2021 counselling registration has started on Oct 5, 2021. The candidates can also check the complete schedule in this article. The candidates can fill their preferences in online mode after uploading their marks. The deadline to fill choices in KEAM 2021 Counselling is October 9, 2021. Only the candidates who have qualified KEAM 2021 will be eligible to appear for the counselling process.
KEAM 2021 First Phase Counselling Schedule

KEAM 2021 Counselling commences after the authorities declare the results. The counselling process will be conducted online through CAP and SWS (Single Window Systems). Only the candidates who have qualified for KEAM 2021 will be eligible for the counselling. KEAM 2021 counselling will conclude with the allocation of seats based on the preferences filled by the candidates and the number of seats available.
KEAM 2021 Counselling Procedure
- Counselling Registration: The candidates who have qualified for KEAM 2021 need to register for the counselling process at the official website. Enter your roll number and other required details.
- Enter your choices: After registration, log in to the portal and enter fill the preferred choices for institutes and courses. The candidates have the option to edit, rearrange, and delete choices.
- Trial Seat Allotment: CEE will conduct Trial KEAM 2021 seat allotment before the closure of option entry during the 1st Phase of allotment. This trial seat allotment of KEAM will give an idea about the chances of getting allotment to a course and college based on options and rank of the candidates.
- KEAM Seat Allotment: Once the choices are filled, the authorities will release the KEAM seat allotment result 2021 on the official website. The candidates will be allocated seats based on their preferences and the number of seats available.
- Payment of fee: The candidates who wish to accept the offer need to submit the fees according to the category. The candidates who do not accept the offers need to log in to the portal and participate in the further counselling rounds.
KEAM 2021 Cutoff
KEAM 2021 Cutoff is the minimum mark required by candidates to be eligible for admission to participating colleges in Kerala. The authorities release the cutoff after every round of seat allotment in the counselling process. The qualifying cutoff for the candidates belonging to the general category is 50%. However, for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories, it is 40% in aggregate.
KEAM 2021 is a state-level examination. It is conducted by CEE, Kerala every year. With NEET becoming the National level medical/dental entrance test, KEAM medical exam has been discontinued. KEAM is now conducted only for engineering courses.
