The Council of Architecture has announced that the eligibility criteria for B.Arch programmes have been modified. Now, following the new criteria as laid out, the applicants will only need to have a minimum passing score in PCM subjects.
Previously the criteria to be eligible for admission in KEAM B.Arch programmes was kept at 50% but that minimum requirement has been waived off. However, applicants should keep in mind that this relaxation in the minimum score is only made for this academic year.

Now, according to the revised criteria, candidates who have qualified class 12 with PCM subjects or have a 10+3 diploma with maths are eligible for admissions. The waive for the minimum score came amid severe lockdowns and the closing of educational institutions due to Covid-19.
The notification for relaxation in minimum score has already been released on the official website of the Council of Architecture. The notification further stated that the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has recommended changing the eligibility for the KEAM 2020 prospectus.
KEAM 2020: Admissions
The admissions for KEAM B.Arch are done based on the performance of the applicants on the NATA and the qualifying exams. This is because KEAM does not conduct a separate exam for B.Arch courses. The weightage of the marks is distributed equally between the qualifying exam and NATA.
