New Delhi: KCG College of Technology has begun the application process for admission to UG and PG courses for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website kcgcollege.ac.in

KCG College of Technology provides various courses in Engineering such as B.E, B.Tech, M.E and PhD. It offers degrees in disciplines such as aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, and so on. 

Candidates who are willing to apply for the UG courses at KCG College of Technology, need to register online on the TNEA website for the counselling rounds. 

Candidates who have not yet received their school passing results or certificates can also apply. They just need to achieve the minimum score required during application. But it is mandatory to produce the result at the time of counselling.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to UG courses

Candidates need to pass with minimum average marks of 45% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together from a recognised board or school for admission to B.Tech/B.E courses. For admission to the UG vocational courses candidates need to pass with a minimum average of 45% in any one of the related Subjects (Maths or Physics or Chemistry), Vocational Theory and Practical put together.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to PG courses

Candidates must have a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination for admission to M.E programme. 

• B.E / B.Tech Degree Programme (or)
• Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed (or)
• M.Sc. (5 Years) Integrated Degree Programme
• B.Sc. (3 Years) ( Computer Science / Information Technology) and M.Sc 2 Years (Computer Science / Information Technology) (or)
• MCA (2 Years) after 10+2+3 Years Bachelor’s Degree (or)
• MCA (Lateral Entry) / (2 Years) after 10+2+3 Years Degree in BCA or B.Sc (Information Technology / Computer Science)

Selection Process of UG: Counselling Procedure

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official portal of TNEA at tneaonline.org 

Step 2: Then click on the tab “Click Here for B.E/B.Tech Registration” 

Step 3: On the homepage fill in the registration details. 

Step 4: After registration is completed a random number will be generated. 

Step 5: Then candidates have to visit the allotted centres for certificate verification. 

Step 6: A rank list will then be published and candidates need to pay the initial admission fee of 5000 INR. 

Step 7: Candidates will have to fill in their choice of colleges from TNEA participating institutes. 

Step 8: Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their merit, choice filling and reservation (wherever applicable).

Selection Process of PG 

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the counselling rounds conducted by TANCET.
• TANCET will call the students based on Entrance Marks for Counselling and will be allotted to college in various branches under Counselling Systems. 
• The allotted students have to report to the College within the reporting date given by TANCET.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee as required and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
