Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will now announce KCET 2020 Result on August 21, 2020. Earlier, the results were supposed to be out today. Karnataka Deputy Cheif Minister Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan had confirmed the KCET 2020 Result date at a press conference held on August 17, 2020 (Monday).

As per the current updates, due to some unavoidable conditions, the KCET 2020 Results are delayed and students can access them on the official website i.e. kea.kar.nic.

KCET 2020 exam was conducted on July 30 and July 31, 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic and petitions filed by students and parents. 

Over 1.94 lakh students appeared in the KCET entrance exam in 120 places at 497 centers across the state. 1,75,428 candidates appeared for Physics, 1,75,337 for Chemistry, 9,90% for Biology and 91.92% for Mathematics. 

How to check KCET 2020 Results

  • Visit the official Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website.
  • Click on the link provided on the homepage for checking the results (It would be activated once the results are out).
  • Enter your roll number along with other required details and submit.
  • Results would be displayed.

In the press conference on August 17, Ashwathnarayan also notified that there would not be a fee hike due to the COVID-19 pandemic and flood situation in Karnataka. The seat-sharing ration will also be the same as the previous years. Check  KCET 2020 Seat Allotment

After the declaration of KCET Result 2020, KEA will conduct counseling in online mode before the last week of October. Candidates can appear for the  KCET 2020 Counselling from the respective districts and do not have to visit Bengaluru for the same. The confirmed counseling dates are to be announced soon. Students can visit the official websites for the details.

Two rounds of counseling and one round of extended counseling will be scheduled for KCET 2020. No additional round of counseling will be provided. 

Transparency will be maintained and seat blocking will not be accepted for KCET 2020.
