New Delhi: The Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) is all set to release the KCET 2023 notification in the first week of February 2023 on its official website @kea.kar.nic.in.
Earlier, before the pandemic, the KCET application process would begin in the month of February. However, with the education sector getting back to its normal timings, it can be expected that the KCET 2023 application process will start in the first week of February.
Meanwhile, the KEA is planning to conduct the KCET 2024 exam in the fourth week of April or the first week of May, 2023. Previously, during the pandemic years (2020, 2021, and 2022), the KCET 2023 registration was delayed by 2 months but it is not expected to happen this year.
The notification of KCET 2023 consists of details regarding the application form date, KCET exam date, syllabus, eligibility criteria, result, etc.

The KEA conducts the KCET, commonly known as Karnataka Common Entrance Test as a state-level entrance examination through the offline or pen-and-paper mode.
With the help of the KCET exam, candidates will be able to easily get admission into various professional courses in the state of Karnataka. Several government and private colleges offer bachelor's degree courses such as B.Tech, B.Sc, and B.Pharma.
Candidates who have passed class 12 from a recognized board of education are eligible to apply for KCET. However, they must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology in their 12th as mandatory subjects. In order to appear for the KCET 2023 exam, candidates must have scored at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST category) in their qualifying exam.
