KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) has enabled the link for the students to upload the documents. The link will be available from 15th -18th October 2020.
The official notice of KCET 2020 also mentions that the students who couldn't complete the process of the declaration can also complete it during these days. However, there won’t be any more extensions henceforth.
KCET 2020 was conducted in July 30-31 and the results were announced on August 21, 2020. The exams were conducted in various centers across the countries.

Furthermore, the counseling process had started on 7th September, and the link for uploading the documents was also activated. However, some students could not upload it on time.
Thus, after multiple requests received from the students, KEA has activated the link on 15th October at 4 p.m and kept it open till 18th October. The detailed information and guidelines about how to upload them have also been updated.
Steps to Upload Documents
- Visit the KEA official website and click on the ‘Upload document option’.
- The candidate will be directed to the login form which will also consist of a user manual.
- The login form from the official website should be filled with the credentials to sign in.
- The information form will appear on the screen which will consist of an option to ‘Upload documents’ which should be clicked to be directed to the upload portal.
- The ‘choose file’ tab must be selected and the pdf formats of the documents should be uploaded one by one across the document names.
- After uploading all the sections, the ‘next’ tab should be clicked.
- The candidate will be redirected to the declaration page.
Important Instructions for Uploading Documents
- The candidate should upload the documents only in the pdf format with every file being under 1Mb.
- If the study certificate consists of multiple certificates, then compile it as a single pdf and then upload it.
- All the files have to be scanned in PDF format only and should be renamed relevantly for easy recognition.
- Files should be uploaded carefully across the space of the document name or serial number provided on the portal.
- The documents should be reviewed and confirmed separately for each upload in order to ensure the declaration process.
- If the documents are not clear by any chance, then they should be re-scanned and submitted.
- After the upload of the documents, the candidate can proceed toward the final declaration through OTP.
- The student must click on the tab ‘Generate OTP’ following which an OTP will be received on the registered phone number.
- After entering the OTP, the declaration process will be marked as completed. Candidates must be careful before completing the declaration process as re-uploading after the declaration process won’t be entertained.
- The acknowledgment slip should be downloaded, printed, and preserved for future references. This will also indicate the completion of the process.
