On Monday, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announced the results of the third seat allocation on its official website. Candidates who have registered for JoSAA 3rd round of counselling may check their results online at josaa.nic.in.

Online reporting, fee payment, document upload and submission of the candidate's response will take place from 5 p.m. on October 27 to October 28, 2020. The last date to respond to the query is October 29, 2020 to 5 p.m.

JoSAA 3rd Seat Allotment Result 2020: How to Check?

• Click on the flashing link on the homepage that reads "View Seat Allotment Result-Round 3"
• The key to your credential and login
• The result of the JoSAA 3rd seat allotment 2020 will be displayed on the screen
• Download the results and print it out for future use.

The registration process requires candidates to reconfirm a few basic details, i.e. Gender, the State Eligibility Code and nationality, and provide their contact details.

Candidates must upload all required documents in order to accept allotted seats (and continue to be part of JoSAA-2020 until the final round of seat allocation).

The first allotment result was released earlier on October 17, and the second allotment result on October 22. The result of round 4 seat allotment will be released on October 30.

Instead of seven rounds of counselling, six sessions will be held this year. The process of admission will begin on 9 November. While admission to IITs will be limited to those who have cleared JEE Advanced, candidates who have passed JEE Main will be eligible for all other courses.
