JoSAA will release JoSAA 2021 Counselling Result in the form of mock seat allotment list, today i.e- October 22, 2021. The mock seat allotment list will be based on the choices that were filled by the candidates. JoSAA will release the mock seat allotment list online on the official website. Mock Seat Allotment List will be released by JoSAA to allow the candidates to cross-check and verify all the details that are to be filled in by them. The Mock Seat Allotment List will consist of the institute and course that the candidate might secure admissions to, based on their ranks. Once the candidates have confirmed the details, they will be allowed to lock their choices. Seat Allocation for the 1st Round of Counselling will be done based on the locked choices.

The ministry of education has set up JoSAA 2021. It manages and regulates the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). The candidates are offered admissions to these institutes through a common platform i.e JoSAA.
