JoSAA 2021 Counselling Seat Allotment for Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 were declared on October 27, November 1, and November 6, 2021, respectively. Seat Allotment for B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.E/ Other Courses in 110 participating institutes including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is done through JoSAA 2021 Counselling.

The ministry of education has set up JoSAA 2021. It manages and regulates the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). The candidates are offered admissions to these institutes through a common platform i.e JoSAA.
