The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (winter bound) was organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Second Phase of the examination was concluded on November 7, 2020.

JNVST is held every year in pen-paper OMR based method for admission to Class 6 of Jawahar Navodaya Selection Test.

The examination was conducted at 579 centres spread across the country. Around 1,16,679 candidates appeared for JNVST 2020 Examination.

CBSE had declared about the conclusion of the second phase of examination through its official Twitter handle. 

“The 2nd phase of JNV Selection Test (Winter Bound) concluded successfully yesterday. It was indeed a great challenge but appropriate planning helped the board in smooth conduct of exam, This is the second exam conducted by CBSE after compartment and is expected to add to the public confidence in the times of COVID-19.”


 

CBSE conducts JNVST Entrance Exam every year as part of institutional agreement between the CBSE and the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (an autonomous organisation under the MHRD, Govt. of India).
