The National Testing Agency will be conducting the JNU Entrance examination today, October 5. The test will be conducted from October 5 to 8, 2020 for admission into various UG and PG courses.

To maintain social distancing and abide by the safety measures, JNUEE 2020 will be conducted in a total of 358 examination centres across the country and more than 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam today.

The entrance test is going to be conducted in two sessions each day. The first session will be from 9 am-12 noon, and the second session is from 3 pm-6 pm. This year,  NTA also informed the students who have applied in the same field of MPhil and Ph.D. for JNUEE 2020 have been given different MPhil/Ph.D. centres, can now appear in either of the two exam centres allocated. JNUEE 2020: Preparation of the examination and Precautions against COVID-19

The National Testing Agency has taken strict and elaborate nationwide steps for smooth and hassle free test conduction. 

  • As per the NTA statistics, a total number of 2,34,048 students are appearing into the JNUEE 2020 today for admission to Under, as well as Post Graduate degrees.
  • The examination centers across the nation are spread to 122 cities.
  • A total number of 358 centers are allotted for JNUEE 2020.
  • As per the official information, as derived from the NTA, a specific number of 56,393 students will be sitting for the JNUEE 2020 on October 5, whereas the rest 72,455 students are going to appear tomorrow, October 6.

  • In light of the ongoing pandemic, extreme hygiene and sanitation precautions are being taken to ensure the utmost safety.
  • To maintain smooth coordination, the agency has recruited 120 city coordinators along with 80 observers in the 122 cities. 
  • Elaborate and proper orientation and training regarding the rules and regulations were given to the officials adhering to the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines.
  • To avoid any scope of malpractice and interferences, CCTV cameras and jammers have been installed into the test centers across India.

JNUEE 2020: Key Points to Remember

Candidates appearing for the JNU entrance 2020, must remember to adhere to the following points to avoid any miscommunication or complication.

  • Bring the printed copy of your JNUEE 2020 Admit Card, along with passport size photo, similar to that uploaded to the application form, PwD certificate (if applicable), along with him or her.
  • Reach the examination center at least two hours prior to the examination time.
  • Do not bring any electronic gadgets, baggage, eatables, water, and metallic objects. 
  • Log-in to your system using your login ID and password only.

The JNUEE 2020 Answer Keys, following the JNUEE 2020 Result, will be uploaded to the official NTA website after the completion of the examination.
