Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is inviting applications for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management courses. 

The application process has commenced and will conclude on September 28. Candidates who are interested can apply at jnu.ac.in.

The new school in JNU, Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) is all set to welcome its second batch of MBA as well as the first batch of PhD for the academic year 2020-2021.

JNU: Eligibility Criteria for MBA Program

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board. The bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of the candidates must entail a minimum of three years of education.

A minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required for general category. While for SC/ST/PWD candidates, a minimum of 45 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required. Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply for the programme.

Moreover, all applicants seeking admission in the MBA program must have appeared for CAT 2019. Each applicant applying for admission to the MBA programme must submit his/her CAT Registration Number and CAT Score. 

The university will use the CAT score to shortlist applicants for the process of GD and PI. As per sources, candidates shortlisted for the program will be at least seven times the number of seats in each category.

The eligibility for admission in MBA programme for Foreign National will be valid GMAT Score (minimum 500) and a Bachelor's degree.

JNU: PhD in Management Eligibility

The eligibility for admission to PhD in Management in ABV-SME will be Master's Degree in Management with at least 55 per cent marks from the relevant discipline.

Candidates must note that the mode of admission to the PhD programme in Management will be only through JRF. 

While the eligibility criteria for admission to PhD programme will be as per UGC Regulations, 2016. All qualified JRF candidates in the desired field will be called for Interview and final selection will be done on the basis of PI.
