New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has joined hands with Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJ-NIFM) to offer a two-year full-time MBA in Finance.
The memorandum of understanding, MoU was signed by Prof. Santishree D. Pandit, Vice-Chancellor of JNU and Shri Prabhat R. Acharya, Director, AJ-NIFM in the presence of senior Professors of both the institutions at JNU Campus, New Delhi.
Candidates who will pursue MBA Finance from AJ-NIFM will be awarded an MBA Finance degree by JNU. The MBA programme has been exclusively designed for freshers and experienced candidates aiming to make a big in their finance career in both government and corporate sectors.
AJNIFM Faridabad MBA Finance Admission 2022: Highlights
Interested candidates can submit their applications for the MBA in finance course till April 30, 2022. In order to shortlist the candidates for AJNIFM Admission 2022, the institute will conduct group discussion and personal interview between May 16 and 18, 2022.
MBA Financial Management has been scheduled to commence from July 4, 2022. AJ-NIFM is offering the MBA programme in order to fulfil the societal requirements for a high quality education in the financial sector with an explicit focus on Financial markets.
Both the educational institutions will hold periodical consultations as deemed necessary for implementing the MoU and they will als draw up the procedures, plans, and recommend programmes of cooperation with a view to achieve the MoU objectives.
The MBA programme is offered to the batch of 2022-24, with an aim to develop professionals in the financial sector who will be able to gain prominent positions in stock exchanges, regulatory bodies, banks, mutual funds, asset management companies, and market intermediaries, and similar organisations.
With the help of the programme, the institute will also impart quality training in financial software including Prowess, Bloomberg, and Refinitive Eikon using corporate visits, market simulations, and lectures on current affairs.
Further, the MBA finance degree offers significant placement opportunities to the students. The students with diverse skills sets have increased the expectations of the recruiters, resulting in a repeated hiring of subsequent batches.
Even the final year students of AJNIFM were placed in top-notch companies such as BSE, BSE, CRISIL, NCDEX, S & P Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, Moody's, Ericsson, Barclay's, L&T Financial services, etc.
During the programme tenure, candidates will also get an opportunity to make domestic and international visits to financial institutions and regulators in Singapore, and Mumbai.
During such organisational visits, students will get a chance to interact with the apex regulating bodies of the financial sector such as RBI, BSE, NSE,SEBI, MCX, FIMMDA, NCDEX, Bloomberg, World Bank, Refinitive, and Singapore Exchange (SGX).
