JK Business School, has come up with a new approach to test the analytical skills of candidates through a business-simulation gaming session for admission into their Postgraduate Diploma of Management programme.
Candidates interested in the PGDM course offered by JKBS can apply before the last date, i.e., January 30, 2021, along with the application fee of INR 1000.
The simulation gaming round will help students evaluate their analytical approach, thinking and problem-solving skills across several functional domains of business processes.

The official statement reads, “He/she will be required to play the game for one day. The focus will be to test the critical thinking, analytical ability, ability to understand and apply basic business concepts.”
The management course has been divided into six trimesters, with the duration of over two years, including a summer internship of two months in between the two years.
JKBS PGDM Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates before applying for admission should check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below;
- Candidates with a three-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks will be eligible to apply.
- Students in their final year of bachelor’s degree can also apply provided they complete all formalities of their examinations before September. Those will be granted provisional admission.
- Students should have cleared any of the competitive management aptitude exams, including CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/ XLRI/GMAT and their equivalent. The validity of scores of those exams is for one year.

JKBS PGDM Admission 2021: Selection Process
The JKBS Selection Process would also weigh in CAT 2020 scores, performance in written ability test (WAT), group discussion and personal interview. The performance in business simulation gaming would be of a weightage of 20 percent.
After qualifying all the above rounds, candidates would be selected for admission. To lock the admission, candidates need to pay a fee of INR 5, 99,100 along with INR 10,000 refundable security deposit.
