According to a senior education department official, the exam timetable will adhere to the pre-pandemic calendar beginning with the JEE-mains exam.

The National Testing Agency is currently finalizing the timetable (NTA). The calendar before the epidemic would restart. JEE-Mains will be administered twice, in January and April, whereas CUET-UG is anticipated to be administered beginning in the third week of April. As is customary, NEET-UG will likely be administered on the first Sunday of May."

According to information obtained from NTA, universities and higher education institutions (HEIs), including State and private universities, would engage in the CUET-UG for their undergraduate admissions.

This year, over 90 universities joined the standard admission, most of which are core universities. Many new universities have contacted the NTA, and the number of participating universities is likely to exceed 120, according to the official.

The CUET-UG 2022's technical issues inconvenienced parents and candidates. In some locations, examinations had to be canceled, while others began late. Incorrect subject mapping exercises led to the exclusion of some candidates from courses and institutions.

In other instances, participating universities also postponed the release of their counseling schedules.
