JEE Main 2023

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 for session 1 BE, BTech paper 1 today. Candidates who appeared in the January exam can visit the website @jeemain.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in, and download the JEE Mains 2023 results. 

Along with the JEE Main 2023 results, the NTA has also released the final answer key for BE, BTech papers. Candidates must enter their application number and date of birth or password to check and download the JEE Mains 2023 results. 

Further, the Candidates will also be able to check the JEE Main 2023 toppers list along with the NTA score and percentile secured. The JEE Main session 1 result will be based on the final answer key, which is now available at nta.ac.in. The number of students who secured a perfect 100 percentile will also be announced soon.

This year, more than 9 lakh applicants registered for the session 1 of JEE Main 2023. Of which 8.6 lakh registered for paper 1 BE, BTech and 0.46 lakh for paper 2 BArch and BPlanning. JEE Main Session 1 exam registered a record 95.8% attendance, which is the highest since NTA started conducting JEE examination. 

With the JEE Main final answer key 2023 for paper 1 is released, the NTA is expected to issue the JEE Main paper 2 answer key and results at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023.

The top 2,50,000 qualifiers of JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023 exam. Depending on the JEE Main 2023 results, candidates can get admission into various NITs, GFTIs and other JEE Main participating institutes.

JEE Main 2023 Results: How to Check? 

Candidates can go through the following steps to check the JEE Main 2023 results. 

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the JEE Main result 2023 link available. 

Step 3: Enter the necessary login credentials and click on submit.

Step 4: The JEE Main 2023 results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check the result, download and take a printout of it for future reference. 

Earlier, the NTA conducted the JEE Main exam 2023 on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2023 at various exam centres across the country.

Nipun and Nikunj Goel, twin brothers, earned first place in the JEE Main Session 1 exam this year. Nikunj scored 99.99 percentile on the entrance exam, while Nipun achieved a perfect 100 percentile.

As per the candidates’ initial reaction, it was found that in almost every shift, the paper was easy to moderate in the level of difficulty. According to Saurabh Kumar, Chief Academics Officer (CAO), Vidyamandir Classes, this year the cut-off for general category students is expected to be around 87-88 percentile while for SC category between 42-43 percentile, 63-64 percentile for EWS candidates and 66-67 percentile for OBC category.

Meanwhile, Nitin Arora, Assistant Director of Academics at Aakash BYJU’S Live believes that since the exam was easier to moderate difficulty level, the expected cut-off for the unreserved category will be around 90-92 Percentile.
