The Supreme Court has dismissed the plea seeking postponement of JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 examinations on August 17, 2020.

A three-judge bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra stated that “life goes on” despite COVID and the apex court cannot put the career of students in danger by interfering with the decision of the NTA.

The bench also said, “You (lawyers) have demanded opening of physical courts. But you want to postpone the exam dates. Postponement of exams is a huge loss for the nation.”

The Vaccine of COVID-19 is “on it’s way” and we are not seeking an indefinite postponement of exams, Petitioner’s Lawyer Alakh Alok Srivastava said.
