New Delhi: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 exam date is soon to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The detailed information regarding the JEE Main 2023 exam will be made available on the official IIT JEE website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Meanwhile, the engineering aspirants have been requesting NTA to postpone the exam after a number of media sources stated that the JEE Main 2023 exam date for the first attempt is anticipated to be in January. As a result, hashtag #jeemainsinapril is trending.

The NTA is anticipated to release the JEE Main application form 2023 at the same time as the exam day. Candidates must submit the JEE Main 2023 application before the deadline at jeemain.nta.nic.in if they want to sit for the NTA JEE Main 2023 exam.

According to one of the JEE Main 2023 aspirants, the NTA was asked to hold the IIT JEE exam in April or May because the dropouts did not have enough time to study.

Another JEE Main 2023 participant tweeted that the NTA should care about students' mental health instead of trying to normalise things if JEE kept in Jan will make students' mental health worse.

Recently, a fake JEE Main 2023 announcement that claimed the IIT JEE Main exam would start on January 18 started to spread on social media. In addition, the bogus JEE Main test date 2023 notice stated that registration would start on November 16.

One of the JEE Main 2023 aspirants tweeted that the class 12th practicals will affect their JEE preparation.

The fake JEE Main 2023 notice showed that the registration for JEE Main 2023 will be held from November 16 to December 31 and the test will be held in two sessions – January (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23) and April (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). Therefore, several JEE Mains aspirants started seeking more information about it.

However, the latest reports suggest that the NTA has not yet set the real date for the JEE Main 2023 exam and that the students are requested to frequently visit the NTA JEE Main 2023 official website, @jeemain.nta.nic.in, to check the latest updates.

Further, the NTA conducts the JEE Main to grant admissions to undergraduate engineering and allied courses (BE/BTEch, BArch, etc) at Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), among others.

Over 10 lakh students sit for the engineering exam every year, after which, the top 2.5 lakh aspirants take the JEE Advanced, the IIT admission test.

Since this year, the JEE Main exam is being held in two sessions. Candidates will have the choice to take either one or both sessions. For the candidates who appear in both sessions, their best marks in the two exams will be considered for the final result.
