New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has released the exam dates of JEE Main 2023 on the official website, @jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year, the 1st phase of JEE Main 2023 Exam would begin in the month of January, while the 2nd phase would be held in April 2023.


The Registration for JEE 2023 Main will begin shortly on the official website. Interested Candidates can visit the JEE Main website and check for the examination dates. 

The NTA is going to conduct the exam for a duration of 3 hours. JEE Main Question Paper for B.E/BTech will have a total of 90 questions of which candidates must answer 75 questions carrying 300 marks. 

Once the exam dates are near, the JEE Main 2023 examination city slip and JEE Main 2023 admit card will be released by the NTA. 

As per the NTA, the JEE (Main) 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali,Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

According to the website, the JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is scheduled to be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023 followed by Session 2 on April 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2023. 

The notification stated that it is being done to ensure that the JEE (Main) – 2023 does not interfere with other Board examinations, which may be held at different times across the States/UTs. The Paper 2A and Paper 2B (B. Arch and B. Planning) is also scheduled to be held twice a year (January and April 2023).

Further, It has been decided to give choices in one section of each subject of Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2A and 2B to cater to the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of the syllabus. 

However, the total number of questions that will be attempted by the students will remain the same (Physics – 25, Chemistry – 25, and Mathematics – 25), wherever applicable.

Step 2: On the home page, select the 'About Us' page and click JEE Main 2023

Step 3: The JEE Main 2023 exam dates and instruction will appear on the screen

Step 4: Check and download the exam dates for future reference. 

Meanwhile, the candidates who have appeared for board exams in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are eligible to apply and even those appearing in the upcoming year can register for the JEE Main 2023 Exam
