New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Supreme Court is expected to hear the plea challenging the alleged technical glitches found in first and second sessions of JEE Main 2022 exam. The court is likely to start the hearing of this matter on or before August 28, 2022. 

JEE Main 2022: Supreme Court to Hear Plea Challenging Technical Glitches in Exam

As per the reports, the petitions have been submitted to the Supreme Court by registered candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2022 but were faced with technical glitches. Due to this, the performance of applicants in the examination has been adversely affected. 

In the petition, the candidates have urged the court to conduct an additional session of JEE Main 2022 examination for those applicants who were affected by these glitches. The four petitions raised for this issue are likely to be heard latest by August 28, 2022. 

The issues faced by candidates during the exam include the appearance of blank screens or frozen screens during the exam, software clashes, discrepancy in final scores, and disappearing and reappearing of questions on the screens among others. 

The petitions have also mentioned that with respect to UGC NET 2022, the NTA has also faced issues regarding the installation of security patches to provide safety to the exam mechanism. Due to this, the authorities have further re-notified the examination. 

Earlier, the second session held for JEE Main 2022 in July 2022 also suffered the same issues, which included discrepancies in the final scores released in JEE Main 2022 Session 2 result and a mismatch in candidates' answers and answers released in the final answer sheet. 

NTA has conducted the JEE Main 2022 examination in two shifts; the first shift was held in June 2022 and the other was conducted in July 2022. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held in April and May 2022, which was postponed due to several demands from students. 

As of now, the exam authority has recently released the JEE Main 2022 result for all registered candidates to check and download on its official website at nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their result status by logging onto the result page. 

Following the schedule, JEE Main 2022 qualified candidates will be required to submit their registrations for JoSAA 2022 from September 12, 2022, through the official website. The last date to register for JEE Main 2022 Counselling is September 21, 2022 (5 PM).
