New Delhi: JEE Main 2022 Session 1 Exam is all set to start tomorrow, June 23, 2022 for lakhs of engineering aspirants. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the admit card through the official portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

With only a day left behind for the first session of JEE Main 2022, the NTA is all geared up to conduct the exam amidst tight security. As per the schedule, the exam would conclude on June 29, 2022. 

Being one of the most popular and competitive entrance exams, this year, the JEE Main 2022 would be conducted in multiple exam centres located in 501 cities within the country and 22 cities outside India.

JEE Main 2022: Steps To Download Admit Card 

  • Step 1: Visit the official NTA website @jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Step 2: On the homepage, search for the News and Events section and click on the JEE Main admit card link.
  • Step 3: It will redirect you to a new window page. Enter the application number and password and submit it. 
  • Step 4: After filling in the required details, click on the sign-in option.
  • Step 5: JEE Main 2022 admit card will appear on the screen. 
  • Step 6: Check and take the hard copy of it for future reference. 

JEE Mains 2022: Session 1 Exam Do's & Don'ts 

To avoid any last-minute confusion, the information bulletin of JEE Main 2022 revealed the following Do’s and Don'ts for the engineering aspirants appearing for the entrance exam. 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any instruments, like geometry or pencil box inside the exam hall. 
  • In case they intend to carry a pen or something, they should have to get it checked at the exam centre and try to leave other things outside the room. 
  • Candidates should comply with the rules of the exam centre under any circumstances. 
  • Candidates appearing for JEE Mains will not be permitted to carry any Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables etc., inside the exam hall. 
  • In case someone carries it, they're advised to leave it outside the exam hall to avoid any trouble.
  • Any form of electronic gadgets/ devices like Bluetooth, mobile phones, microphones, calculators etc., is not allowed inside the exam hall. 
  • Candidates must carry a recent passport-sized photograph along with a valid photo Id proof for verification purposes. 
  • If and when asked, either of the documents must be presented by the candidates to the exam invigilators. 
  • Candidates must avoid wearing any metallic or expensive items like jewellery. 
  • Candidates must wear light, comfortable clothing during the exam. 
  • Things like caps, mufflers, etc, should be avoided inside the exam hall. 

Once the JEE Mains 2022 Session 1 exam concludes, the NTA is likely to start the preparations for JEE Main Session 2. The latter will have the rules defining what's allowed and what's not allowed inside the exam hall, which might be the same. 

Candidates are advised to comply with the JEE Mains rules to avoid any trouble. Meanwhile, the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted between July 21 and 30, 2022.
