New Delhi: As per the latest update by NTA, both the sessions of JEE Main 2022 have been postponed. The session-1 exam has been deferred to June, while the session-2 exams will be held in July. 

JEE Main 2022 Postponed, Session-1 Exam from June 20; Form Correction till April 8

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the dates for JEE Main 2022 to enable students to prepare well for the exams. Several students had earlier requested to postpone the exams. Additionally, aspirants urged NTA for gaps between sessions and to increase the number of attempts to four. 

As per the revised JEE Main 2022 exam dates, the session 1 examination which was earlier scheduled to commence from April 21 to May 04, 2022, will now be held from June 20 to June 29, 2022. The exam city and admit card for the same will be released later on NTA's website. 

For JEE Main 2022 Session 2, candidates who have registered for the exam must note that the dates have been rescheduled for July 2022. The exam will start from July 21, 2022 and will commence till July 30, 2022, in various exam centers across the country.

Earlier, the National Testing Agency has revised the examination dates for JEE as the dates were clashing with Class 12th board examination. The dates are again rescheduled “based on numerous representations received from the candidates" the official notice reads.

JEE Main 2022 Form Correction: How to Rectify?

Candidates who have already completed their JEE Main 2022 registration and wish to make changes to their application form can now do so by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the NTA JEE Main Official Website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the ‘Application Form Correction for JEE(Main) – 2022’ link available. 

Step 3: Enter the details as required to access the application form for correction.

Step 4: Fill in the application form with care and submit the same before the given deadline.

Candidates must note that the last date for making changes in JEE Main 2022 form is April 08, 2022. No changes or rectifications will be permitted after the given deadline. 

Earlier, the NTA has withdrawn the JEE Main 2022 form correction option from this year. The exam authority has advised the students to fill their exam form with care as no corrections or error rectification will be given once after the form is submitted.
