New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) session 2 exam will not be held from July 21, 2022.The exam shall now be held from July 15, 2022.

NTA has declared on July 20, that the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 exam is to be held from July 25, 2022. The revised exam schedule will be released along with the release of JEE Main exam city allotment 2022 

Earlier, the JEE Main 2022 for 2nd session was scheduled to be conducted between July 21 and July 30. The JEE Main session 2 registration was closed on July 12, while the JEE Main 2022 June exam result for BE and BTEch paper was declared on July 11. 

“We need some buffer between two exam for adequate preparation. CUET ends on July 20 and it would have been difficult to start another exam the next day. Hence, JEE (Main) will now start from July 24,” a senior official.

The exam authority is expected to release the JEE Main 2022 exam city intimation slips today. The JEE Main aspirants can login to the official portal @jeemain.nta.nic.in ,to check and download the JEE Main 2022 exam city centre intimation slips.

Meanwhile, the NTA will issue the JEE Main 2022 admit cards for the 2nd session exam  two or three days before the exam. Candidates can enter their application number and date of birth/ password to download the admit card.

JEE Main Admit Card 2022 July Session: How to Download? 

The JEE Main 2022 admit card for the session 2 will be available only in online mode. Go through the step-by-step process to download admit cards for JEE Main.

Step 1: Visit the official website @jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Step 2: Click on JEE Mains session 2 admit card link on the homepage. 

Step 3: Login using the application form number and password/date of birth. 

Step 4: JEE Mains 2022 Session 2 admit card will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Check and download and take a printout of JEE session 2 admit card. 

Post the release of JEE Main 2022 session 2 admit cards, aspirants must check whether their names, photographs and other personal details including JEE Main 2022 application form number are correct. If any discrepancies are found, they must intimate the NTA for rectifying the errors.

This year, the JEE Main 2022 Exam. will be held in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled to begin from 9:00 AM and continue till 12:00 PM. The second shift will start at 3:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM.

The data revealed that as many as 8,72,432 candidates registered for the JEE Main 2022 Session 1 exam, which was held between June 23 and June 29, at 588 examination centres in 407 cities including 17 cities outside India.

Meanwhile, a total of 14 candidates have scored a 100 NTA score in BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2022 Session 1 result. However, the NTA is yet to announce the results of JEE Main session 1 Exam for BArch and B. Planning courses
