  • Students reported that most of the questions in JEE Main 2022 Day 2 Shift 1 paper were from Class 12th syllabus.
  • Although the paper was a bit lengthy, students were able to complete the paper within the time slot.
  • Mathematics was the most lengthy section as per the students’. Topics such as Coordinate Geometry and Calculus had more weightage.
  • Physics and Chemistry were easier as compared to Mathematics.
  • Questions in Chemistry were directly from NCERT however, the weightage of Organic Chemistry was less as compared to previous years. Inorganic Chemistry had the highest weightage among the three sections.
  • The Physics section was reported as easy to moderate with more weightage to Modern Physics and Electrodynamics. There were a few direct theory questions from Class 12th NCERT.

JEE Main 2022 official Answer Key and Question Paper is expected to be released by NTA in a week after the exams end. The provisional JEE Main answer key for B.E./B.Tech Shift 1 (June 24) is expected to be released by the official authority in the first week of July, after which the final answer key will be released (Date to be announced).
