New Delhi: The application forms for the JEE Mains 2022 first session exam have been issued by the National Testing Agency. Candidates can only fill out the application forms online through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

JEE Main 2022: NTA Decides to Discontinue the Option to Makes Changes in Application Form

Candidates will not be allowed to make any changes to their application form once it has been submitted, according to a significant alteration introduced by the NTA in the application procedure.

In the JEE Main 2022 information bulletin, NTA has clearly stated, “Candidates are requested to fill in the Application Form very carefully. No corrections will be permitted once the Application Form is submitted.” 

Candidates are thus urged to accurately fill out all of the information on the application form since they will not be allowed to modify them later on.

Filling for the JEE Main application form comprises a few steps that include registration, filling out personal information, uploading scanned documents, and paying application fees. Candidates may complete all steps of the application procedure sequentially, or they may finish the registration first and the other steps later.

JEE Main 2022: How to Apply?

Candidates can fill up the JEE Main 2022 Application Form by following the processes outlined below: 

  • Visit the "Apply for JEE Main Exam 2022" page.
  • Fill in the required information, such as exam-related information, medical information, mail id, academic details, and parents' details.
  • Upload the scanned photographs 
  • Pay the application fee 
  • The yearly family income has been added as a required field in the JEE Main 2022 Application Form by NTA.
  • Candidates can also provide their AADHAR number.
  • Once the candidate has successfully completed the JEE Main 2022 Application Form, a confirmation page will be provided to the candidate's registered email address.

JEE Main 2022: Important Documents 

Below is the list of documents that mandatorily need to be submitted while applying for JEE Main 2022:

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Scanned passport size photo and signature
  • Scanned PwD/Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST certificate (If applicable)
  • Credit/debit card or internet banking details for fee payment
  • Aadhaar details (optional)

Candidates without PwD/Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST certificates must upload a "Self Declaration/Undertaking" in the format specified in the information bulletin. Candidates must offer a valid and functioning email address as well as a contact number. All future JEE Main 2022 exam notifications will be delivered to the email/mobile number provided.

JEE Main Syllabus 2022

Candidates should avoid submitting numerous application forms. If a candidate fills out more than one application form, the NTA will cancel the application and his or her candidature may be refused. As a result, it is strongly encouraged to fill out only one application form.

While the NTA has not suggested an alternative, the best advice is to fill out the application form is with caution and avoid making any mistakes. Although the NTA has said that no correctional facility would be offered, there is a possibility that the correctional window may open.
