JEE Main 2022 is conducted online as a computer-based test. As per the revised marking scheme, four marks are awarded to candidates for every correct answer whereas one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
- Just like the previous shifts, Mathematics was tough as compared to Physics and Chemistry.
- As per the students, almost all chapters from Mathematics were covered. Questions from Coordinate Geometry had mixed concepts questions from Parabola, Ellipse & Hyperbola. Numerical Based questions had lengthy calculations.
- Mathematics topic Indefinite & Definite Integration had 4 questions.
- In Chemistry, Physical Chemistry had more weightage compared to Organic & Inorganic Chemistry. Questions were majorly based on NCERT. Numerical Based questions from Physical Chemistry were easy.

JEE Main 2022: What’s Next?
JEE Main 2022 Phase 2 is scheduled from July 25 to 30. The official JEE Main 2022 Answer Key and Question Paper is expected to be released by NTA in a week after the conclusion of the exam. JEE Main 2022 Result will be announced by the authorities after the final answer key has been released. The expected JEE Main 2022 result date is 2nd week of August, 2022.
