  • As a surprise, the weightage of Calculus in the Mathematics section was less. Numerical-based questions had lengthy calculations. Some students also reported the numerical-based questions as tricky. 
  • Questions from Physics had an equal weightage of Class 11th and 12th. Candidates found some of the numerical-based questions directly based on NCERT.
  • In the Chemistry section, Physical and Organic Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Inorganic Chemistry. Questions from Physical Chemistry were found to be easy.

NTA is conducting JEE Main 2022 in 501 cities in India and 25 abroad. Aspirants appearing for JEE Main 2022 on July 25 Shift 2 must carry their hall ticket, duly signed undertaking and a valid photo ID proof. As per instructions, candidates must reach their exam centers according to the reporting time mentioned in their JEE Main 2022 Admit Card.

JEE Main 2022: Answer Key and Result

JEE Main 2022 answer key will be released for the candidates in the 1st week of August. Before NTA releases the final answer key, a provisional answer key will be released. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question. This can be done through the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2022 result is expected to be released by NTA tentatively in the 2nd week of August (10-12 days after the conclusion of the exam). There is no minimum JEE Main Cut off for NITs or IIITs for B.Tech admission but candidates need to meet the minimum qualifying percentile to be eligible for JEE Advanced. Check JEE Main 2022 Cut off
