New Delhi: On Friday, July 29, the Supreme Court ordered NTA to allow 15 candidates to sit for the JEE Main 2022 additional session. The additional session exam is going to be held on July 30, 2022.

During the JEE Main 2022 Exam, 15 candidates were not able to attend the exam due to technical reasons. In the Supreme Court on July 29, justices D Y Chandrachud and J B Pardiwala were on the bench. They have asked the National Testing Agency to issue the JEE Main 2022 admit card to the 15 candidates who have faced technical difficulties. 

The Supreme Court has also mentioned in the order that the candidates who will be appearing in the second session will have to forget the result of the JEE Main Session 1 which was held in the month of June.

As per reports, the petition was filed in the supreme court by a person named Gaurav Bhairava and the other candidates. They have claimed that they had sat for the JEE Mains Examination 2022 First session which was held from June 23 to June 29. While taking the JEE Mains Session 1 Exam 2022 , the candidates faced many technical glitches such as the server not loading, questions not loading and many others. Due to this, the candidates lost a lot of time.

Now the SC has ordered the NTA to issue admit cards to the candidates and allow them to appear for the additional session today July 30, 2022.
