New Delhi: JEE Main 2022 registration process begins as per the National Testing Agency (NTA). On the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in candidates can submit their online application forms. This time, the number of test centres has been raised to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

Last year, the total number of examination centres was 331 but this year the number of centres within the country is 501. This means that a total of 170 new centres have been set up. In addition to this, JEE Main 2022 will also be conducted outside India as well. 

For that, 13 new foreign exam centres have been set up that includes Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Jakarta, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait, Lagos/Abuja, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore. 

JEE Main 2022: How to Apply?

The candidate must complete a few steps in order to complete the application process for JEE Main 2022. In the first stage, customers must provide their contact information. This will be followed by personal information, Aadhaar information, and exam and centre information.

  • Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official website.
  • On the webpage, click on "Apply Now."
  • Select the method you want to apply.
  • If you have not applied before, register by using your credentials
  • Complete the form and upload your photos
  • Pay and submit the form

JEE Main 2022 Exam Dates

The candidate must provide four options of examination state and city while filling out the exam and centre details, which means they must first choose the examination state and then the city. 

According to the information bulletin, the concerned authority will make every effort to provide the examination centre to the applicants in the order of their preference. However, due to administrative or logistical concerns, a different city may be assigned.

Phase 1 of JEE Mains 2022 will take place on April 16, 2022, with phase 2 taking place from May 24 to 29. The application window for NTA JEE Main 2022 is now open on the official website.
