JEE Main 2021 B.Arch admission criteria have been revised for the 2021-22 academic session. Union Education Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the news about the relaxation of eligibility criteria through his Twitter handle today i.e. March 19.

Union Education Minister released the new admission criteria for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) based on JEE Main 2021 Paper-2 scores. The minimum requirement of 50% in PCM and an aggregate of 10+2 has been waived off and revised with only a pass in 12th Class with PCM subjects or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.

As per the previous eligibility criteria, students willing to pursue B.Arch courses through JEE Main needed to ensure they had at least scored 50 per cent aggregate marks in three subjects of Class XII namely Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.

However, as per the relaxed eligibility requirement, students are required to pass their class XII exam to qualify for admissions in the Architecture degree courses. Students should even have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in their class XII and passed these subjects to be eligible for admissions.
