Students’ Reaction on the Conduct of JEE Main Examination

Praveen Kumar, a candidate from Khaprail who had come to Siliguri to appear for the exam at the Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management, said he was not worried about the COVID-19 situation and was more concerned about his exam going well.

"I believe I have prepared well for my exams. More than COVID-19, I hope my exams go well. My only other concern is that there is a lockdown on September 12 and NEET is on September 13," said Praveen Kumar.

While another student who hailed from Delhi, Nikhil Kumar travelled from Uttam Nagar to his centre in Vivek Vihar, said that the exam was held smoothly.

"Proper social distancing was ensured by the staff inside the premises. The exam went okay. I prepared for the entrance through online classes. I am relieved that the exam is finally over despite so many delays," he further added.

"The exam was held from 9.30 am to 12 noon. There were around 50 students sitting in the room where my exam was scheduled. Social distancing norms were strictly followed by school staff. I didn't face any difficulty in reaching the centre," said Vishal Gupta, a resident of Bhikaji Kama Place.
