New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Guwahati has notified the registration dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 on its official portal @jeeadv.ac.in. According to the official notif, the JEE Advanced 2023 will be held on June 4, and the registration window will be opened from April 30. 


 

With the JEE Advanced 2023 Registration window to close on May 4 of 2023, the JEE Advanced 2023 exam will take place on June 4. Thus, all the eligible candidates can register for the JEE Advanced on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. 

The JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2 are scheduled for 9 am to 12 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm, respectively. IIT Guwahati will declare the JEE Advanced 2023 results and the final answer key on June 18 at 10 am.

The registration process will be from 10 a.m. on April 30 to 5 p.m. on May 4 of 2023. The last date for registered candidates to submit fees is May 5, 2023. 

Candidates can download the JEE Advanced 2023 admit card from May 29 from 10 am until June 4 at 2:30 pm. The PwD applicants will be able to select their scribe on June 3, 2023. 

The candidates' response key will be made available on June 9, at 5 pm. The tentative answer key will be released on June 11 at 10 am, and candidates will be able to make objections to the answer key from June 11 at 10 am to June 12 at 5 pm. The JoSAA counselling will tentatively start on June 19 at 5 pm.

The online registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2023 will begin from June 18 at 10 am to June 19 at 5 pm. The AAT will be conducted on June 21 from 9 am to 12 pm. The AAT 2023 results will be declared on June 25, 2023 at 5 pm.

IIT JEE Advanced 2023: Eligibility

  • In order to apply for JEE Advanced, candidates must be in the top 2,50,000 (including all categories) of JEE (Main) 2023 BE, BTech paper. 
  • The percentage of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are— 10 per cent for General EWS, 27 per cent for OBC NCL, 15 percent for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST and the remaining 40.5 percent is open for all. 
  • Within each category, 5 per cent is reserved for PwD candidates.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates. 
  • A candidate is eligible to attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years. 
  • Any candidate who has earlier been admitted to an IIT will not be eligible.
  • The shortlisted candidates will make up 10% of the General EWS category, 27% of the OBC NCL category, 15% of the SC category, 7.5% of the ST category, and the remaining 40% will be available to all candidates. There is a 5% preference for candidates with disabilities in each category.
  • The candidate's date of birth must have been on or after October 1, 1998. 
  • Candidates who are SC, ST, or PwD are offered a five-year age relaxation. A candidate may attempt JEE (Advanced) no more than twice in each of two succeeding years. Any candidate taking the test must have taken the class 12 (or equivalent) exam for the first time in 2022 or 2023, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being the required subjects. 
  • Students who appeared for class 12 in 2021 or earlier are not eligible to apply. 
  • However, candidates from that Board who took their Class XII (or equivalent) test in 2021 are also eligible to take the JEE (Advanced) 2023 exam if the examination board for Class XII (or equivalent) announced the results for the academic year 2020–21 on or after October 25, 2021.

IIT JEE Advanced 2023: Registration Fee 

The SC, ST, and PwD applicants as well as female candidates in all categories must pay a registration fee of Rs. 1450. The registration fee for all other applicants is Rs 2900. Candidates living in SAARC nations and foreign nationals, including those with PIO and OCI, pay $90; candidates living in non-SAARC countries pay $180.
