New Delhi: IIT Bombay has postponed JEE Advanced 2022 from July 3 to August 28, 2022. Candidates interested in appearing for the entrance exam can visit the official IIT JEE website at jeeadv.ac.in to check the updated exam schedule.

JEE Advanced 2022 Postponed to August 28; Registration to Start from Aug 7 @jeeadv.ac.in

JEE Advanced 2022 was initially scheduled to be held on July 3, 2022. However, due to the postponement of JEE Main 2022, the exam date has been revised by IIT Bombay.

The institute decided to postpone the JEE Advanced exam after the National Testing Agency (NTA) rescheduled the exam dates of JEE Main 2022 to avoid a clash with Class 10, 12 board exams 2022 and other competitive exams. It has now been scheduled to be conducted between July 21-30, 2022. 

JEE Advanced 2022 exam pattern is such that it consists of two papers, which will be conducted in two different shifts for a duration of 3 hours. Paper 1 will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. IST, whereas Paper 2 will be conducted between 2:30 and 5:30 IST.

According to the latest schedule, JEE Advanced 2022 registration will commence on August 7, 2022, and candidates can register for the same by paying the fee till August 11. However, the last date of fee payment for registered candidates is till August 12, 2022. 

Following which, JEE Advanced 2022 admit card will be available from August 23 to August 28, 2022 and the tentative answer key will be released on September 3, 2022, while the final JEE Advanced 2022 answer key will be released online on September 11, 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022: Revised Schedule

IIT Bombay has issued the JEE Advanced 2022 revised examination dates. Candidates who secure a rank under 2,50,000 in JEE Mains 2022 exam will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022: How to Apply? 

Candidates intending to appear for the JEE Advanced 2022 can register for the exam from August 7. It should be noted that partly filled application forms will be rejected summarily by the authorities. Go through the following steps to apply for JEE Advanced 2022. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2022 @jeeadv.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself using the JEE Main 2022 Roll Number and Password. 

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page containing personal and academic details.

Enter all the basic details and enter their choices of exam centres while filling out the application form.

Step 4: Apart from the details, students will also need to upload the scanned images of their passport size photographs and signature.

Step 5: Preview all the details, pay the fee, and take printouts of the applications for future requirements.
