New Delhi: Rajasthan has topped the list of states for passing the Joint Admission Exam-Advanced (JEE Advanced), a national entrance exam administered by Indian Institutes of Technology, once more (IITs). 2,184 candidates from Rajasthan out of the 13,801 students who registered for JEE Advanced this year were accepted into IITs.
With 2,131 eligible students, Uttar Pradesh has taken second place. The success rate of applicants from each state and Union territory in JEE Advanced was disclosed on Professor Subhasis Chaudhury's social media account. With 1,747, 1,644, 1,428, and 1,038 candidates getting seats in 23 IITs, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh took third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place, respectively.

According to information provided by the director of IIT Bombay, a total of 1.59 lakh students from throughout the nation registered for the JEE Advanced 2022 exam, and 16,614 of them have been given places at IITs. There were 272 foreign nationals who enrolled for the exam, and seats have been assigned for 21 of them.
