IIT Kharagpur has released a notification regarding the candidates who belong to OBC-NCL and EWS Categories and who will be appearing for JEE Advanced 2021. The candidates need to upload their valid certificates on the official website by October 2, 2021.
The notification reads, “If you do not possess a valid OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued after April 1, 2021, you may submit a declaration in place of the certificate. However, you must upload a valid certificate (issued after April 1, 2021) by October 2, 2021, 17:00 IST in the online portal ”
JEE Advanced 2021: How to Upload OBC-NCL, EWS Certificate?
The candidates need to go through the following steps to upload the documents effortlessly.
- Visit the official website.
- Locate the recent notification tab.
- Click on the link which says download the OBC-NCL Declaration form and EWS Declaration form.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Go to the top right corner of the screen and click on the download option.
- Fill in your details.
- Submit the document by logging in to your portal.
The candidates need to keep in mind that IIT Kharagpur has released a modified version of the information brochure of JEE 2021. The candidates are advised to visit the official website and download the latest format of the documents that need to be uploaded.
The recent notification released by the authorities also says that New certificate formats featuring changes in (a) FORM-PWD (III), (b) FORM-PWD (IV), (c) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of OBC-NCL certificate and (d) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of GEN-EWS certificate are uploaded.
JEE Advanced 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on October 3, 2021. The registrations for the same have commenced from September 16, 2021. The deadline to conclude JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Process is September 20, 2021. However, the candidates who belong to OBC-NCL and EWS Categories can submit their category certificates by 5 pm on October 2, 2021.
