The Joint Entrance Examination authorities have given an option to upload the category certificates at the time of reporting after the seat allocation process is completed. 

The notice released on the official website of JEE Advanced reads, "Due to COVID related restrictions hindering the issuance of various certificates in time, valid category certificates can be uploaded at the time of reporting after seat allocation."

JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted by IIT Delhi on September 27, 2020. Earlier the last date to upload the certificates was September 26. 

Keeping in view the circumstances faced by economically weaker sections and hindrance faced to receive the latest certificate. As per the JEE norms, the certificates issued before April 1, 2020 would not be valid and such candidates would then have to apply under the general category.

Meanwhile JEE Advanced has opened the correction window to change the examination city. Candidates can visit the official website and avail the facility till September 17, 2020 by 5:00 pm.

To facilitate the students amid COVID-19, IIT Delhi has added various exam cities in the list which are- Valsad (Gujarat), Bagalkot (Karnataka), Dhule (Maharashtra), Ichalkaranji (Maharashtra), Kashti (Maharashtra), Sangammer (Maharashtra) and Burdwan (West Bengal).
