Joint Admission Counselling(JAC) Committee, Delhi, has released the results of JAC Delhi 2020 Seat Allotment Round 1. Read the article to know important dates, participating colleges, cutoff and direct link to check.
Candidates will need to log in using their application number and password to check the results of the JAC Delhi 2020 seat allotment.
The result of the seat allotment will be available online. In the case of vacant seats after the completion of all rounds, a spot round will be held by the authorities.
Admissions will be based on JEE Main 2020 candidates' main ranks, preferences, category and availability of seats.

JAC Delhi 2020 Counselling
Candidates will have to register for advice from JAC Delhi and no entrance exam will be carried out.
Admissions are carried out on the basis of the principal JEE ranks. Candidates will first have to submit the required information such as the number and name of the JEE Main 2020 application and then pay the counselling fee.
They will have to register after payment by submitting the other details required and uploading the photograph and other documents.
Choice filling and locking must be done by the registered candidates as per preference.

JAC Delhi 2020 Seat Allotment Procedure
The authorities will conduct the process of seat allocation online in four rounds, followed, if necessary, by the spot round.
Applicants will be allocated seats based on their main JEE ranks. Other factors will be taken into account when making the seat allocation of JAC Delhi 2020, such as the choices made by the candidates during counselling, their category, availability of seats.
After every round of counselling, the result of the allotment will be announced. After the seat is allocated to them, candidates will have to download the allotment letter. Before reporting at the allotted institute by the selected candidates via online mode or challan at any SBI branch, an initial deposit of Rs. 85,000 will have to be paid.
After the payment is done, the candidates will have to report for verification of documents to the allocated institutes. It is also necessary to submit a receipt of the fee paid. Failure to report to the allocated institution will result in the admission being cancelled.

JAC Delhi 2020 Seat Allotment Upgradation
- Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats and do not wish to be upgraded will have to ask the authorities in writing to freeze their seats on the day of the allotment report.
- If there are vacant seats left, the candidates in JEE Main 2020 will be upgraded according to their preferences and rank.
- Those candidates who are upgraded will not have to report to the new institute.
- Upgradation will be considered for all of those candidates who are allocated until the end of the third round.
JAC Delhi 2020 Seat Allotment Round 2
For the next round, candidates will be allowed to make fresh registrations. Those candidates who took part in the previous round will be upgraded to fill the vacant seats. The following candidate categories will be eligible for the JAC Delhi 2020 Round 2 seat allotment.
- Type I-For the second round, candidates who have registered for the first round but have not been allocated any seats will be eligible.
- Type II-Candidates who have been assigned seats in the first round paid the required fee and verified their documents will be eligible if they are still awaiting a seat upgrade.
- Type III-Newly registered registration

The rest of the counselling and seat allotment rounds (excluding the second round) will be similar to the first round
JAC Delhi 2020 Seat Allotment - Spot Round
The spot round of JAC Delhi 2020 seat allotment will be conducted after the conclusion of all four counselling rounds.
Candidates will have to pay the participation fee of Rs. 10,000 in online mode. Spot round will probably be held in offline mode.
Seats will be allotted will be done as per merit and preference of seats.
JAC Delhi 2020: Who can participate in Spot Round Seat Allotment?
- Registered candidates who have not accepted their allocation to any of the JAC Delhi 2020 participating institutes/universities until the final round, i.e. Round 4
- Registered candidates who were not assigned to Round 4.
- Candidates who, at any stage of counselling, have withdrawn their admission from any participating institutes/universities.
- Registered candidates who have been assigned a seat in a certain round, but have not reported for admission.
- Registered candidates who have not made any decisions during the process of online registration.
- Registered candidates who were assigned a seat in some counselling round but were cancelled due to a certain deficiency.
- IGDTUW has approved candidates whose rank is lower than the JAC Delhi 2020 base cutoff rank.
JAC Delhi 2020: Documents required for Verification
- Online Registration Form downloaded from the website of JAC Delhi
- Three Photographs of Passport Size
- Self-attested copies of the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card and Score Card.
- Original and self-attested copy of the qualifying examination trademark sheet, i.e. XII Class or equivalent.
- Original and self-attested copy of the birth date certificate as specified in the High School or equivalent exam, i.e. X Class.
- Original and self-attested copy, unless other than the General Category, of the reserved category/subcategory.
- Receipt of the applicable Rs . 10,000 fee payment (for spot round)
- Demand Draft of Rs. 85,000 issued in favour of the New Delhi payable 'JAC DELHI 2019 ADMISSION FEE' (for a spot round if the admission fee has not been paid in previous rounds)
- Original certificate of medical fitness in the case of General/ SC/ ST/ CW/ OBC/ SG/ TP/ CW/ KM
