The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has started the admission process for Undergraduate Law Course BA LLB and BBA LLB based on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020.
The Supreme Court has earlier confirmed that the admission process for the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Undergraduate Law program will be based on the CLAT 2020 from the Academic year 2020 onwards.
Following which, IP University has opened the application window for its various courses. Interested candidates can apply from September 12-27, 2020 in online mode on its official website (ipu.ac.in). Check details below.

Earlier, the university used to conduct the admission process for LLB based on the IP University Common Entrance Exam Test. From the year 2020, the university decided to opt for the popular law entrance exam CLAT to shortlist candidates for admission.
GGSIPU provides two undergraduate law courses to the students, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (BA LLB), and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law (BBA LLB).
Students willing to apply for law programs in GGSIPU can do so by filling up the online application form provided by the university website.

IPU Law Courses Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GGSIPU University is as followed:
- Interested candidates should have completed their education up-to 12th, and should have passing marks in all subjects.
- Aggregate scored marks scored by the student should not be less than 50% in class 12th board exam.
- The student must have the English language as a subject in class 12th.
- Students must obtain their class 12th degree from a recognized board.

IPU Admission 2020: Selection Process for Law Courses
The first step towards seeking admission in GGSIPU Law courses is to appear for CLAT 2020 examinations. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CLAT score and will be selected for admission to the university.
