New Delhi: IMT Hyderabad is taking LEAP initiatives to boost leadership skills, employability, and careers for the benefit of the students of batch 2022-24. Under this initiative, industry mentors will assist students in honing their interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
The LEAP programme of IMT Hyderabad provides hands-on workshops in developing fields such as python programming, blockchain technologies, advanced spreadsheet modelling, personal branding, leadership lab, creativity innovation workshop, and design thinking throughout the first year of the programme. This guarantees that students are well-versed in Industry 4.0 Trends, which are transforming the world of business and management.
Sharing the goal of initiating the LEAP program, Prof. Vinay Kalakbandi, PGP Chairperson, IMT Hyderabad said, “The purpose of LEAP is to nurture communication skills, cognitive & interpersonal skills, contemporary digital skills and develop business acumen & social consciousness among students of IMTH.”
LEAP initiative programme of IMT Hyderabad will make the final-year students understand the duties, responsibilities, and problems of a given career path in a specific sector. Students will also have the chance to participate in global immersion programmes for one week to a trimester with IMT Dubai and 44+ partner institutes from across the world.

IMT Hyderabad LEAP Initiative: Courses
Around 20% of the course is delivered by industry experts from the corporate world to ensure that the courses are relevant and update to meet the current and future needs of the industry.
Under the initiative, students will pursue courses such as Digital Marketing, BlockChain for Managers, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Forecasting Analytics, FinTech, Risk Analytics, HR Analytics, Sports Analytics, International Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Students are also encouraged to pursue industry-endorsed certification programs such as KPMG Six Sigma Certification, NCFM, and Google Analytics.
IMT Hyderabad LEAP Initiative: Certification & Award
After the successful completion of the programme graduating students get the LEAP Certificate (Category A, Category B and Category C) based on their performance. The top three performers receive the merit award.
IMT Hyderabad Admission 2022 is now ongoing for its programmes for the current academic year. To be eligible for admissions candidates must have 75 %in CAT or XAT/ 90% in CMAT and 550 composite scores in GMAT.
