New Delhi: The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) Delhi has begun the application process for the Ph.D, Post Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC), Post Graduate Certificate Course & various Certificate programs for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal.

ILBS Delhi offers PDCC, PGCC, Ph.D programme and Fellowship in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to these programmes can submit their applications till November 27, 2022.

Admission to the PDCC, PGCC, Ph.D programme and Fellowship offered by ILBS will be done based on the merit obtained in the entrance exam.

The institute has scheduled to conduct the entrance examination for Ph.D/PDCC/PGCC/ Certificate Courses and Fellowship on December 18, 2022 tentatively and date of Departmental Assessment will be announced later.

ILBS Admission 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PDCC/Fellowship/PGCC/Certificate Courses will have to fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria for PDCC: 

• Candidates must hold a degree of MBBS or DNB/MD in relevant specialization.

Eligibility Criteria For PGCC:

• Candidates must hold a degree in M. Sc. or MBBS
• For PGCC in Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis & Liver Diseases and PGCC in Clinical Research in Liver Disease, the candidate must have passed BHMS/BDS/BAMS/M.Sc. Statistics/MBBS/B.Sc Nursing

Eligibility Criteria For Ph.D:

• Candidates must have completed M.Sc./MBBS/DNB/MS/MD. The candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in M.Sc. and 55% in case of MBBS.
• For Ph.D. in Clinical Nutrition, the candidate must hold a M.Sc /M.Phil or MBBS
• For Ph.D. in Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Diseases, the candidate must have completed BAMS/MBBS or BHMS or PG in Biomedical Science

ILBS Admission 2022-23: Selection Process

• Candidates' selection to the PDCC/Fellowship/PGCC/Certificate Courses will be on merit based on entrance tests (objective test).
• Objective test (weightage 70%) for grading aptitude and merit. The test would be of 90 minute’s duration comprising 100 multiple-choice questions. 
• The qualifying criteria for the entrance examination is minimum 50% marks. 
• In order to qualify for the departmental assessment for PDCC/PGCC and Certificate courses, the candidate should have secured minimum 50% marks in theory entrance examination.
• Departmental assessment and final interview (weightage 30%).

ILBS Admission 2022-23: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of ILBS @www.ilbs.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
